Bicycling in the Buffer

That's what we have isn't isn't. The few couple feet the cagers give themselves between collision and damage. That's what the cyclist is expected to occupy. I guess that gives our identity whether it be a professional messenger or upright, newbie commuter. We deal with aggressors, the lack of signalners, the cell phoners. All in that buffer, at best 3 feet wide.

We watch that buffer from 6 inches to three blocks. Planning for immediate dismiss to moving thru traffic in the best possible way.

I love and live for that buffer.
